  • Trim the papers according to the paper dimensions on page 124 of Originals. Cut one 6" × 2" piece of polka dot B&T Duos® paper and one 2" × 5" piece of Colonial White cardstock.
  • Using Black ink, stamp the large bat on the left side of the 2" × 5" Colonial White cardstock.
  • Using the embossing powder jar as a guide, draw a circle on the remaining portion of the 2" × 5" Colonial White cardstock.
  • Using Chocolate ink, stamp a sentiment along the bottom edge of piece B. Stamp the bat flourish in the bottom left corner of piece A.
  • Using a Black marker, color four bats.
  • Using VersaMark® ink, stamp the bat flourish and the large bat directly over the corresponding stamped images.
  • Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the stamped images.
  • Using the craft heater, heat the powder until it changes from a powder to a clear, glossy shine.
  • Cut out the large bat and the traced circle.
  • Using the sponging technique, apply Crème Brulee ink to the surface and edges of the circle, creating a moon.
  • Using the sponging technique, apply Chocolate ink to the edges of all papers, excluding the cut-out images.
  • Assemble the card according to the instructions on page 124. Attach the moon and the cut-out bat to above the sentiment on piece B.
  • Attach the ribbon at an angle. Tie a 3" piece of ribbon in a knot and attach where the two angled pieces meet.
  • Attach Black Bitty Brads.
